Your choice of Jewellery has more to say about you than you can imagine. Though most people do not know this, it’s easy to tell your mood or personality from the kind of jewellery piece that you are wearing. So, let’s see what your Jewellery says about you:
Hoop earrings and circle necklaces: Seeing that a circle itself, is open by its very design, it insinuates that you are open to new things. It could also be associated with having a fun, lively and flirty personality.
Pearls: Pearl Jewellery are a Classic statement. They convey a message of elegance and style.
Bling</: Blings scream attention. These are bold, shiny pieces that show that you are a bold person who doesn’t lack in confidence. If you have a strong will and are not afraid to be noticed, you are definitely good to go, to rock bling pieces.
Vintage pieces: These show your feminine side and also pose that you might be a bit of the sentimental type: someone who holds on to stuff usually after relaxing them to some type of memory. E.g my grandmother’s wedding ring or locket.
Fabric jewellery: Research says You’re probably funky and modern- a person who also appreciate handmade crafts.
One lovely plus to jewellery is that they help to flatter your shape. Large bracelets or a group of smaller ones will draw attention to your wrist, while a neckpiece will draw attention to your face. This could help to disguise imperfections as the eye is drawn toward your jewellery and not your figure flaws.
I think I fall into more than one of the above categories but you’d mostly find me on either loops or pearls and that’s one of the reasons I love this piece below.
I received this bracelet from Tosin (Tosins are doing great things o lol), the brain behind Hannah Ephraim Jewellery a couple of months ago and I haven’t gone one day without it since then. Pure love for this piece of Jewellery when I laid eyes on them. The perfect harmony of simplicity, aesthetics and comfort is a winner for me, anyway. I like items that are simple, comfortable and beautiful at the same time. This pair of Silver Rivet Bracelet from Hannah Ephraim Jewellery does it all for me. It’s very lightweight. I have even caught myself wearing it to sleep because I don’t even feel like I have anything on. At the same time, I’ve had a whole lot of people stop me to admire this piece and go ahead to ask where they can get them.
I do not like any piece of hand-jewellery to be a perfect fit (wearing wristwatches that exactly fit my wrist are a no-no for me), probably because I feel like they show the world that my hands are small. The Rivet Bracelet isn’t fitted to my wrist so that’s a plus.
It’s available in Silver and Gold but I chose Silver because I’ve always loved it since I was a child. In addition, I discovered a couple of healing benefits of Silver.By the way, have you tried So Yummy Caramel Popcorn and Waffles from Waffle Haus? Sigh…Just try them and thank me later.
According to my research, ‘Silver is believed to benefit blood circulation, help the lungs and throat, detoxify the body, aid in the treatment of degenerative brain diseases and hepatitis, correct hormonal & chemical imbalances, and improve nerve impulse transmission.
Silver has germicidal effects and kills many lower organisms effectively without harm to higher animals.
It is also believed that Silver can conduct the body’s energy. It can channel the positive energy of other minerals into a patient. The minerals usually used by new age healers, with silver include turquoise, agate, jet, moonstone, and lodestone or cooler-coloured gems. Lodestone set in silver is said to aid eyesight.
Throughout the ages, silver jewellery has been associated with magical powers. It is believed to promote healing, bring good luck, and ward off evil spirits. While these beliefs are not part of mainstream thinking today, some people still hold them to be true. Scientists are now testing silver on diseases like malaria and leprosy with encouraging results.’
‘Silver has the ability to energize other stones during the new and full moon. It draws negative energy out from the body and replaces it with positive energy’.
The bangle came in this really cute pink pouch and since its Pink, a favourite colour for most women, plus it is the colour for October (in respect to Breast Cancer Awareness month), I think the choice of the colour was thoughtful of her. She usually delivers her products to men using Blue pouches.
She also sells fashion rings, engagement rings, other bracelets, neck pieces and so on. You can get yours by sending a Direct Message to them HERE or visiting their website HERE.
They are very affordable and this piece I am wearing is still in perfect condition, just like when I got it. This is an 8/10 for me and I swallowed the remaining 2 just because I want to feel like a Secondary School Literature teacher that I am, who never gives students the full marks for their essays.

WORD FOR THE DAY
There is gold,
and an abundance of jewels;
But the lips of knowledge
are a more precious thing.
