I have partnered with a few brands to bring you last minute ideas of outfits you can rock on Valentine’s Day. In less than 24 hours, red and white will be all over the streets like ketchup on rice and the surprises we’ve been brewing will finally be let out of the bag but just in case, you were still unsure of what to wear, I gat you.
Here are last minute Valentine Outfit Inspiration to make your shopping easier Click To TweetThe first outfit is this really fun and flirty Gold dress from ShopMo’sBox.
I’m really in love with the way the dress glistens in the sun.
The low back is definitely a winner if you like to show a little bit of skin without going overboard. I think this would be perfect for a date night with some classic black shoes. Matte black shoes would even do better. You can go minimal on the accessories since the dress is already busy itself.
The second outfit would be perfect for you, if you’re just going out during the day, maybe to the beach, lunch or to catch a movie.
The kimono set is from Shop Mo’s Box and the cute lil crochet top is from Hooked on Kaothar. She makes really lovely knitted pieces ranging from clothing to hair accessories, and she’s really so nice.
Mo, on the other hand, is the same designer as the Gold dress and the brand name really fits her as she actually carries a multipurpose box everywhere she goes. Now, that’s a really personal brand, don’t you think? Did I mention that she’s really funny? I kept laughing all through the shoot.
Both outfits were shot by Simi of DLordView Photography who was really nice and patient. He also came to shoot with a really efficient assistant and this is definitely the first of a very valuable partnership among all creatives on board.
The third outfit is this wine and pink ensemble.
The top is from Mr Price, the shirt and purse from Honortrade ventures and the shoes were a Christmas gift from my darling, Alex of nappyhaired.com.
If you’re not the type to show too much skin with your clothing, then this should work for you. Since Valentine’s Day is on a weekday this year, you could pull this off to work as well, with nude makeup.
I also tried pairing the skirt with a white top, instead. It’s from Mr Price as well. Which do you prefer, the wine or the white top?
Also, If you’re going out at night, you can just switch from the wine and pink outfit into something similar to the Gold outfit above and change your lip colour from Nude. Slay hard, girl!
This was shot by the amazing Kufre. Kufre is one of the nicest people I have met in a long while. He’s planning to tour the 36 Nigerian states soon and I really can’t wait for all he’s planning to unfold.
The Gold dress retails for #8,000 and the kimono set is #10,000. You can shop for these as well as other lovely items from Mo HERE. She also styles people for events.
The Knitted top retails for #3,000 if you’re an A-C cup. Cups from D upwards retail for #4,000. You can shop for this top and her other creatively unique pieces HERE
