The Ordinary brand is definitely not a new name in the skincare community. They have a range of products for various concerns at a very affordable price point. In this post, I highlight some of the products from The Ordinary that I have tried, specifically for Hyperpigmentation and exfoliation.
The Ordinary brand has products ranging from about $4. I have tried about 7 products from them;
- Mandelic Acid 10%
- Lactic Acid 10%
- L – Ascorbic Acid + Alpha Arbutin
- Alpha Arbutin
- Salicylic Acid Masque
- Niacinamide + Zinc
- Buffet
However, as at the time of this post, I will only be talking about the first five because I have used them for a reasonable period of time and can give a review from an informed and experience-based point of view.
Aside from the salicylic Acid Masque, the rest of them can be used in the serum or treatment step of your routine. For most people, you do not have to rinse them off but if you find that your skin isn’t reacting greatly to them, a short contact method may be best for you. This is applying and leaving it on for about 10 minutes, then wiping or rinsing it off.
You can purchase them at Sephora, Cult Beauty website, Asos website or on the Deciem.com website. A lot of third-party vendors also retail products from The Ordinary.
